When it comes to travel, especially in Africa, but not exclusively, one of the most required documents is the International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever or Prophylaxis.
This certificate has become mandatory for citizens coming from countries affected by yellow fever. Currently, Mozambique is not among the affected countries, but if you are traveling from or will be visiting a country that is affected, you need this certificate.

List of the 40 countries covered:
Africa: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Togo.
South and Central America: Argentina (some provinces), Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay (some areas), Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago (island of Trinidad), and Venezuela.
Travelers who reside in or have passed through one of the 40 countries considered at risk for yellow fever must present a vaccination certificate or equivalent document upon entering Mozambique.
Travelers who do not present the certificate may be vaccinated at the point of entry, according to local authorities.

Vaccination at Maputo International Airport
Travelers arriving in Mozambique without an International Certificate of Vaccination who are subject to the requirement may be vaccinated at the point of entry.
Price: 1.350 MZN, as indicated by the Mozambican authorities (This information may be outdated.)
Validity: The International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever is valid for life. Since 2016, the World Health Organization (WHO) has determined that a single dose of the vaccine makes the certificate valid for life, incluindo para pessoas vacinadas antes dessa data. It is not necessary to renew the document simply because it indicates a 10-year validity period.
